P2P File Sharing Applications
By using your computer today you can find a lot of different music and movie programs. From downloading music and movies directly from the internet to buying subscriptions, joining clubs, and even renting, all from the comfort of your home.Some of the more popular programs available include - file-sharing applications or also called p2p have cropped up all over the Internet, are easily accessible and range from being free to about twenty dollars. Today, I will be sharing with you guys a list of the Best(in my opinion) P2P File Sharing Applications. So here goes..
Limewire is probably the best p2p application available right now. LimeWire is a peer-to-peer file sharing client for the Java Platform, which uses the Gnutella network to search and transfer files among users. Limewire is a free software, released under the GNU License, but it also has a Pro version which enables better optimized search results, faster downloads, tech support, etc.
iMesh is another popular p2p application for downloading music and videos. It boasts of having over 15 million free songs and videos. It comes in 9 different languages which include english, french, dutch, spanish among others. It also has a mini player which allows you to play music and video files from within iMesh. Personally I liked iMesh for downloading music and videos but haven’t found it good for downloading any freeware software or application yet.
eMule is one of the biggest and most reliable peer-to-peer file sharing clients around the world thanks to its open source support and based on edonkey2000 client. eMule has Multilanguage support with ability to connect to multiple servers and intelligent file corruption detection system to help you in getting genuine files. eMule is free from spyware, adware and its completely free. eMule is also available in portable form to run from your USB drive.
BearShare is one of the best P2P Sharing application for people who are into music. BearShare gives your iPod and MP3 support and over 20 million songs and videos. It lets you find, download, share and publish audio / video files easily and you can listen and download songs that are 100% legal.
Ares is a free open source file sharing application that enables users to share any digital file. It has powerful library organizer, built-in audio/video player, file sharing chat rooms. Ares automatically finds more sources and downloads files from many users at once.
